Coaching expectations

Coaching is an opportunity to dive deep into your topics and reflect. This is your playground. As your coach, I am responsible for making this a safe playground for you to share and learn from yourself.

I believe that you are capable, resourceful, and have your own answers, even if you are not immediately aware of them or confident in your ability to access them. My job is to listen with an open heart, ask provocative questions, and offer tools, structures, ideas, inquiries, requests, and activities that help you tap into your inner source of wisdom. I am committed to supporting your learning, career, and personal goals.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME

I will always assume that you are doing your best.
I will be your champion, always holding a vision of your best self for you.
I will create an environment that supports exploration and change.
I will ask you to stretch.
I will ask you to think outside the box.
I will make powerful requests to assist you in accomplishing your goals. You are free to accept, decline, or propose a counteroffer. If you choose to decline a request, together, we will find a way that works better for you.
I will maintain the confidentiality of our conversations and your identity.
I will make appropriate referrals to other resources when needed.
I will apply adult learning principles during coaching.
I will participate actively in all meetings with you (and other stakeholders).
I will offer truthful and relevant feedback.
I will prepare relevant action items for all coaching meetings.

Be prepared for your scheduled sessions.
Focus on your growth within the context of your current and future organizational role.
Maintain an open attitude toward experimenting with new perspectives and behaviors.
Be honest and reflect on your strengths. Do your best, but don't try to be perfect.
Be coachable—partner with me to facilitate your process of living, learning, and growing.
Take responsibility for your results, both the successes and the failures.
Have a positive mental attitude.
Be open and vulnerable.
Provide feedback about the helpfulness of the coaching.
Apply your learning gained through coaching to your day-to-day work.

Rescheduling Policy

At ProfessorP Media, your appointments are important to us and are reserved just for you. We understand that schedules may need adjustment at times, so we require 48-hour notice to reschedule sessions.

Please be aware that if you forget to cancel or change your appointment without the required notice, we cannot fill that time, and clients on our waitlist cannot receive essential career services. If you reschedule or cancel without 48 hours' notice, a $25 fee may apply. Late arrivals will shorten your appointment time and will not extend into the next client's appointment.

Due to circumstances outside our control, such as power outages or severe weather, cancellations will be rescheduled at no additional charge.

As a courtesy, appointments are confirmed via email before the scheduled session. If you need to make a change, please reply to your confirmation email, call the office at 617-906-8881 and leave a message, or text us at 617-906-8881.
